Fun Toddler Crafts
Sensory Balloons
What you'll need:
Balloons
Sensory Items (Coffee Grounds, Dry Beans, Baby Powder, Hair Gel, Rice, etc...)
Directions:
Fill each balloon with a one item to get different effects.
Have your toddler/child squeeze the balloons to feel the differences between hard, soft, wet, & dry.
Extras:
Coffee Grounds & Baby Powder SMELL so you can also have your child sniff the balloon!!

Toe Caterpillar
What you'll need:
Construction Paper
Crayons & Markers
Glue Stick
Green Washable Paint
TOES
Directions:
1. Color a leaf on white paper and glue it on a piece of construction paper
2. Paint bottom of toes with green washable paint
3. Place toes onto leaf to form the caterpillar body
4. Draw on legs, antennae, eyes, and smile onto caterpillar
5. Let it dry and hang up for everyone to see!!

Play Clothes
Directions:
1. Dress your child in play clothes that you don't mind getting messy.
2. Write your child's name in tape across the poster board.
3. Lay poster board outside on sidewalk & pour paint on.
4. Have your child paint with hands, feet, elbows, butt, anything really. LOL
5. Let dry and then remove tape.
6. Hang up and show it off! One of a kind ART!!

Fall Leaf Place mat

A roll of Contact Paper
Directions:
1. Take your toddler on a nature walk & collect intact Fall leaves.
2. Cut a place mat sized sheet of contact paper.
3. Place contact paper sticky-side up & arrange leaves how you want them to lay.
4. Cut another piece of contact paper (same size) and lay it on top sticky-side down.
5. Have your child rub it to flatten it & get out the bubbles.

Emotional Animals Game
This is a great game to teach young children about emotions. As well as acting out different animals.
What you'll need:
Two solid-color square blocks
Paint (optional)
Permanent Marker
Directions:
1. Paint blocks different colors (if you want)
2. Choose 6 different animals and 6 different emotions.
3. Write emotions on one block and animals on the other with the permanent marker.
4. Have your child roll both dice and act out the emotional animals.
Tip: For older children, you can talk about the emotions so they know it's okay to feel that way.
